Ezee Grace Foods recognises that its business activities can affect the environment. Wherever possible, we are committed to reducing that impact.
Continuous improvement
We aim to develop a programme of environmental management and improve our practices over time. Our environmental code of practice considers the full journey of a product, from supplier and manufacturing choices to packaging and disposal.
Environmental considerations
- Supply chain: consider the environmental aspects of orders across the whole supply chain.
- Product life cycle: take account of intended use, components and manufacturing processes when confirming orders.
- Packaging: consider the environmental effects of packaging used in manufacturing, storage and transport.
- Products and stock: use environmentally appropriate disposal methods for damaged products, returns, stock and samples.
- Waste: apply environmentally appropriate waste-disposal principles wherever possible.
- Hazardous substances: seek specialist advice when disposal involves chemical or hazardous materials.
- Energy: choose energy-efficient products wherever possible.
Responsible partnerships
We aim to work with suppliers on ethical, sustainable partnerships and lower our carbon footprint. These commitments guide improvement; they do not describe environmental certifications or claim that every product has already achieved a particular sustainability standard.
